It is open on weekdays from 8.00 to 12.00. It is a “drive-thru” point, access to which is possible only via gate “A” from Al. \u015alaska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the spring, a lot of people benefited from the first opening of the testing point. The organizers examined over 3,000 people, including, thanks to the support of President Jacek Sutryk, MPWIK SA, and well-known private clinics in Wroc\u0142aw, hundreds of Wroc\u0142aw medics for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The swabs will be taken without leaving the car, with the window open. Before that, everyone willing will be asked to fill in a consent form for the examination and to provide an identity card. The form can also be downloaded from the website: www.testcovidwroclaw.pl and filled in at home. Then the examination itself is a matter of 2-3 minutes from the driveway to the departure point. The employees of the point will be professionally protected in protective suits with a certificate for working with viruses, special masks, goggles, and helmets. The collection itself takes several seconds, it is not painful, it is performed with the use of a special gel swab, in which the secretion is collected from the throat. The sample collected in this way is placed in a special container and then transported to the laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organizers of the point also announce that it is possible to conduct field research for a larger group of people, e.g. in workplaces and offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Genetic analysis will be performed so-called by real-time PCR (RT-qPCR). It is the only method recommended by the World Health Organization for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, characterized by high sensitivity and specificity close to 100%. The method used makes it possible to detect infection even if the test person passes it asymptomatically, the organizers assure. At the request of the respondent, the result will also be issued in a foreign language – English, German, Russian, Czech, and Ukrainian. Such a need must be reported to the staff before the test is performed, and it will be marked on the application form. The test result will be made available to the respondent for up to 48 hours and in special cases up to 72 hours. The respondents will be admitted without any limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
